If the guy your dating is acting in a suspect manner and you decide its time to keep tabs on his behaviour, keep a close eye on him but do it with some subtlety. Make sure you eliminate any of your own personal demons before your pursue your investigation. Are you being paranoid? Are you a jealous person and not being rational? When you are confident you are thinking clearly, here are some tell tail signs that your suspicions could be justified.

Sex. After having allot of sex, 99% of guys are well and truly spent. So if he is coming home from where ever he claims to have been and is not responding in the bedroom and is occurring regularly, your relationship is experiencing some worrying signs. Its a tough ask for any man to sustain a high level of sex and passion between two women.

Nervous phone calls. You’ve been dating this guy for a while now so your pretty used to his mannerisms. Something else to watch out for is when he starts leaving the room to take phone calls, is often clearing out his inbox on his phone, and is protective about anyone else touching or answering his phone other than him.

You stop getting invited. When you first start dating someone, you go everywhere together and do everything together. Before an affair starts between your guy and another woman, its not uncommon for him to innocently talk about the new girl he just started working with in general conversation. If her name keeps getting mentioned on a daily basis, trust me, he is keen on her. If you are finding yourself being invited less and less to social gatherings, chances are, its because his new female friend is at these gatherings.

He’s withdrawing. Pulling away emotionally is also a dangerous sign. One of the first signs of a relationship being in trouble is when the guy your dating stops communication both mentally and physically. He stops talking about normal everyday things, and everything seems like an effort.

Missing in action. Sudden bouts of disappearance with weak excuses. If the guy your dating is a traveling salesman, or perhaps a pilot, then sure, he is bound to be unavailable from time to time. However if he has a steady daily routine then yes, be alarmed if these patterns start to emerge. Phone being turned off for hours several times a week, canceling your plans unexpectedly and via a text message, or is vague about what he has been doing and where he has been going. Take mental notes about your conversations with him, you may be able to catch him out later on.

The internet. Online dating sites are where more men seek affairs than anywhere else and has over taken the number of affairs that take place at the office according to The Australian Centre of Relationships and Wellness Research Project. Online dating offers anonymity and discretion with cheaters able to source affairs outside their local region to avoid being caught. Savvy cheaters can easily escape suspicion by setting up secret email addresses, and conducting their online dating from work. Cyber dating has grown in popularity by gigantic proportions in recent years for both singles and attached daters.

A good private investigator will usually always bring you the evidence you need. It’s worth the investment, you don’t want to be wasting precious time with a cheater. Build a strong case, be patient, and before you confront him with the proof, make your decision as to how you will deal with him, don’t let him talk his way out of it.
